Himalayan Yog-Vedantic Tradition

We offer Yoga rooted in the Himalayan Yog-Vedantic Tradition. This tradition is built upon two vital pillars: Ancient Vedic Texts and an Unbroken Oral Lineage. While the texts are invaluable, they are only as supportive as the Self-Realized beings who bring them to life through interpretation. Our roots trace back to Maha-Avatar Babaji, and the Kriya Yoga Oral Lineage.

These practices originated in the high peaks of the Himalayas thousands of years ago, designed specifically to accelerate human evolution. They are as relevant today as they have ever been. Veda means "Knowledge." The wisdom of the Vedas reminds us of our true nature: that we are not separate from the intelligence of the universe. Training in this lineage allows you to tap into and live from this field of Vedic wisdom.

Sattva Yoga Academy & Anandji

My training comes directly from the Sattva Yoga Academy in Rishikesh, India, under the guidance of Master Anand Mehrotra. It was from him that I received vibrational transmissions and lineage initiations. Sattva is a sanctuary where ancient teachings are preserved in their most potent, undiluted form.

Anandji was raised as a Yogi in this tradition, training with his Master in the mountains from birth. His capacity to communicate Vedic wisdom with clarity—in a way that we can truly comprehend and carry forward—is astounding. To be welcomed into this lineage and feel the presence of its ancestry is one of the greatest gifts I have ever received.

An Integrated & Ecstatic Approach

Our approach is holistic, inclusive of the eight limbs of yoga and more. It is dynamic, accessible, and designed for modern life. We are here to live life and enjoy it! Life is always happening Now, Ecstacy is Now, Grace is Now. Love now, be present now: we do not wait for tomorrow, or retirement, or once we have finished a sadhana, or the afterlife…

Yoga is not just something one "shows up for" on a Tuesday morning; it is a way of being that seeps into your bones and encourages an aligned, ecstatic existence. While practices like Vinyasa, Breathwork, Dance, Somatic Therapy, Authentic Relating, Mantra, ect. are beautiful on their own, something transformative happens when we weave them together artfully. Our integrated approach utilizes the power of synergy to break through karma, produce a rapid evolution of consciousness, and weave deep community connection.

Heart YAM Perspective

YAM is the bija, or seed sound, for the heart chakra. When chanted, it vibrates with the frequency of the heart, assisting in its opening and blossoming. We see the heart as an emergent, multi-dimensional center capable of guiding you into a deeply fulfilling life. Every offering you find here is designed to support that journey.

Rooted in Tradition, Aimed at Transformation

The foundation of our offering is Traditional Himalayan Kriya Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. These practices have the capacity to utterly transform your life in ways previously unimaginable—calling you into the deepest expression of your being.

Our goal is not just transcendence, but groundedness. We want the gift of you—the way you move when the ecstasy of life flows uninhibited through your entire being.

An Integrated Path: From Spirit to Soil

Our founder, Patrick, brings forth these teachings alongside other paths that have supported his personal heart journey. This is where his background in Permaculture Design, Regenerative Agriculture, Herbalism, Community Living, and Conscious Construction grounds his spiritual practice for deep relevance on the physical plane.

Whether we are moving through a powerful Kriya session, designing a regenerative garden, or discussing how to show up fully in your relationships, these are all integrated practices for tending the blossoming of Love.

Evolution in Action

By strengthening our "awareness muscle," our ability to witness the ever-present unfolding of grace becomes exponential and regenerative. In time, Heart YAM will expand to include more offerings from our greater community. We have no fixed destination; we are evolution in action. We are excited to see what the Great Mystery has in store for this journey.

About Patrick

A Journey of Inner and Outer Landscapes

Hi, most people call me Patrick—or Pato, or Pati; take your pick. My journey has been deeply steeped in the wonders of this Earth, the exploration of consciousness, and the "dance" of living an ecstatic life. Like any path worth taking, it has come with plenty of challenges. Those hurdles have supported me in growing into the fullness I carry today, giving me a grateful perspective for the lessons that continue to arise.

I have been fully immersed in spiritual exploration for over 15 years. For me, witnessing the mystery of consciousness—both within and without—is a constant source of "winks" and clues from the universe.

From Cultural Frustration to Conscious Design

My "non-ordinary" lifestyle was sparked by looking at our modern culture through a lens of frustration. I saw a society deep in a rabbit hole of confusion, hustle, and external blame—a culture that often considers destructive habits "normal." I found myself asking: How could the most intellectually capable species on the planet develop a culture that ensures its own self-destruction?

This question led me to the internal realms of consciousness, and eventually, to Costa Rica and the principles of permaculture. I discovered permaculture as a way of structuring society to live in synergy with our planet. As my inner planes of awareness opened, so did the outer ones. The arbitrary boundaries between "me" and "other" began to dissolve. I learned to quiet my mind enough to truly listen—to the land, to people’s energy beyond their words, and to the unseen beings present with us. I realized that the interconnectedness of this universe is not just a concept; it is alive and thriving.

Rooted in the Himalayas: Himalayan Kriya Yoga

My passion for generating symbiotic living systems eventually led me to India. After practicing Kriya Yoga for nearly a decade, I knew it was time to learn from the source. I traveled to commune with the Himalayas and studied at the Sattva Yoga Academy in Rishikesh, where I became a Master Certified Teacher.

I was initiated into the ancient technology of Himalayan Yog-Vedantic Kriya Yoga. This rich oral tradition was held close to the mountains for centuries, only recently being shared more broadly as humanity’s need for tools to break through the "illusion of the separate self" became clear.

An Invitation to Presence

It is a great honor to carry these teachings. They have provided me with a personal stability that doesn’t waver when life gets loud. Today, I share these practices to support others in accessing a deeper peace—a feeling that can only be described as "coming home."

Whether you are seeking nervous system regulation, permaculture design, or an initiation into this sacred lineage, I am here to support those who desire a deep dive into the ancestry of Self-Realized beings.

If my "flavor" resonates with you, come along. If it doesn't, I trust you will find the guide who does. May we all taste the ecstasy of existence and allow it to move us through the unique brilliance of our diversity.
